Our practice is unique because our physicians and midwives work together. Our patients are Metro patients so either a physician or a midwife might deliver a baby. The patient may request a physician rather than a midwife, and we do our best to accommodate them.
We have four highly-skilled doctors with many years of experience. You can read more about them HERE to help you decide which one would be most compatible with you. You also have the option of working with one of our four midwives. They all have several years of experience and provide exceptional care. You can learn more about them under the "Our Team" tab on this website. If you have questions about any of our providers please feel free to contact our office, and we will be happy to help you.
You will be seeing one of our Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant. These providers work as partners with our physicians and see patients for routine office visits. This allows our physicians to be available for more complicated or urgent patient needs.
We have four doctors and four midwives who are well-trained and highly qualified who can deliver your baby. In the event that your labor is spontaneous, one of our physicians or midwives who are on-call at the time will deliver your baby. If there is a complication or an emergency, one of our physicians will deliver your baby.
You may use any clinic that is convenient for you. We have three clinics in the Omaha-Council Bluffs metro area and four satellite clinics in southwest Iowa. We deliver babies at CHI Mercy Hospital and Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs and at Methodist Women's Hospital in Omaha. We do surgical procedures at several metro hospitals, as well as at three regional hospitals in southwest Iowa. Please check with your insurance company regarding insurance coverage before choosing a hospital for a surgical procedure or before giving birth to your baby.
